Few Programs Run Slower Than Before

i'm using bitdefender internet security 2011,

core duo t2450

ram 2.5 GB

Win XP SP3

maybe my question not detailed before, well i don't know the source of problem, is it because vsserv.exe or the other one. After i installed bitdefender on my laptop, my program (DU Meter) refresh rate not running like before, it can be seen on bottom right corner on the screenshot. usually it refresh every 1 second, after i've installed BD, it refresh about every 2-3 second, and when i check on mu windows task manager, every 1-2 second vsserv.exe, consume about 30% my cpu usage.. that's why i'm asking, is it normal for vsserv behave like that? or BD need to be configured with custom setting?

well it's not an crucial problem, but i could not monitor my network speed accurately if the refresh rate delayed like i mentioned above.

Hello,

Please add those programs to Exclusions by following the steps below and let me know if the issue persist:

- open BitDefender Security Center;

- switch to 'Expert View' from the Options button;

- go to 'Antivirus' tab;

- click on 'Exclusions' on the right hand of the Security Center;

- enable them if disabled then click on the small '+' to add the EXE file of the program creating issues;

- choose 'Exclude by file/folder path' and hit Next;

- click on the 'Browse' button to choose the file;

- check to see if the issue still occurs;
