  • It is now almost March 2012 and I still experiencing same problem with BDIS 2012 - it is reporting me about port scanning in my local network that includes 2 PCs, TV, AV Receiver and Wi-Fi router.

Do you have any fixes regarding this problem? Please, do not offer me to switch off port blocking in the firewall.

Has this thread closed by Bitdefender? I wonder why no more post since Feb 2012.

Now is 7.05pm Nov 5, 2012 and Bitdefender just popped up and warned me that there was a port scan from IP 8.8.8.8 which happens to be Google's Public DNS.

Apparently, the problem remains as of my writing.

    Have a nice day.

  • I am now having this issue, since upgrading my Wireless router. It is annoying to have this pop up every 10 minutes, every day. If Bitdefender won't fix it, I will. I just received a free subscription to Zone Alarm Internet Security Suite. Perhaps that is a solution

  • Hi :)

I think I have a solution for your case.

As the new Bitdefender 2013 product suite was released, we would like to inform you that you benefit from a FREE upgrade to the latest version.

Apart from the fact that the 2013 suite brings lots of new features and improvements, it will most likely solve any issues that you may have encountered with your previous Bitdefender product.

    Please check out this announcement:

After you install the new version, if needed, we will continue the conversation on the new area from here:

    Thank you.
