[resolved]idm Vs Bitdefender 2012? Help Me

IDM runs with 1 connections, then I uninstall bitdefender Internet Security 2012, IDM runs with 16 connection. Why???? help me!!!!!! :(

    Same problem with IDM. I reported the problem IDM technical support. I hope that Dave Saeger to find a solution!

  • Download by IDM is low speed. BIS 2012 limit bandwith :unsure:

  • t tested today with different setting but look like we have to wait for awhile for now for Bitdefender 2012 with bugs free. I dont know why, but everytime bitdefender release new products, it always has many bugs compared to other anti virus companies.

  • We're very very angry. Speed internet is very very low (download,...ect). If not fix, we will uninstall Bitdefender 2012 and install the another Antivirus software. We're disappointed about BIS 2012!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <img class=" /> :angry:<img class=" /> :angry:<img class=" /> :angry:<img class=" /> :angry:

    I hope to have update versions very soon in the future. Almost internet connections are much slower,although I set default setting for Bitdefender Internet Security 2012.

    Is there, any chance to analyze this problem, quite delicate for those who hold licenses to IDM?


    I suggested to support the IDM to analyze the situation, they said that their part, everything works ok and does not respond the program incompatibilities created by Bitdefender.

  • When I install Bitdefender Internet Security 2012:


    -> "Start Download" button of IDM appear very low


    -> IDM downloads with 1 Connection and not resume, although I download at Mediafrie.com,etc,...


    -> IDM's speed download is fast, then It's reduce


    When I uninstall Bitdefender Internet Security 2012 or I install Bitdefender Internet Security 2011, everything is normal!!!!!!


    HOW TO FIX????????????

    You are right! Do not use any latest product of bitdefender, they always release incomplete versions.

    I've used Bitdefender Internet Security since 2008,and now the 2012 version was the worst. I hope everything would be fine again in the near future.


    Because Bitdefender Internet Security 2012 is too many problem, I uninstall it and install bitdefender Internet Security 2011. Is the 2011 version supported by Bitdefender labs?

    - I'm try to disable everything but inefficient. However, When I uninstall Bitdefender 2012,everything is ok.

  • me to, IDM open with 1 port after install BIS 2012.. And now i uninstall BIS 2012 n Reinstall BIS 2011...


    my IDM download with 16 port... I think this problem exists on the boot scan in the antivirus scanner..


    Boot scan have blocking port..


    BIS 2012 is nice product, but need to repair blocking port download. I install BIS 2012 after this issue resolve in new update.

    I'm still waiting for this update, but till then! I uninstalled Bitdefender 2012 and reinstalled an other antivirus which let me use IDM; because I can't work without IDM!

    Is very strange! on some sites, IDM - download allowing more connections. But the most is not possible to download multiple files.


    Try to download this and you will be convinced that IDM works perfectly.\


    I apologize if my statement sufficiently verified.


    The first kit that I downloaded after the update yesterday, was that indicated above and found that everything is ok.

  • pls tell me why do i have to pay hard earned dollars on some antivirus which needs to experiment why is this punishment , really dont understand ...................... have to wait 4 updates and have to wait untill the bid dev team does something abt idm or registry booster 2011 or slow connection or slow webpages .... why??

    I know I should post this message in other section but I had this problem and I have some other problems related to bitdefender firewall design! after I faced the problem which made stnair2000 angry, I downgraded my bitdefender and now I'm using IS2011, but IDM problem exists... I was impressed by power of bitdefender antivirus but the firewall's design is so annoying. for example in IS2011 it places IDL in a white list and define a full access rule for it but it doesn't work well at all. I've downloaded more than 70 GB this month by IDM, before bitdefender I had been using another security solution for 4 years, everything went fine and IDM worked perfect but my laptop infected with a ###### virus and I chose bitdefender.


    IDM has 3 step to connect a server, first connecting..., second send GET..., third download receiving file...! before bitdefender these 3 steps take time about 3 seconds and just one time until finishing. In bitdefender it takes time about 30seconds and these 3 steps are continuing more than 1000 times!!! and it causes my download speed decreases. for example last night I started to download a file about 700MB and today it was stick in 500MB and all of IDM connections write send GET...!!!


    I don't know what's your plan for this important issue but I think you'll loose a lot of your customers. as I said it's a big problem with all of bitdefender products. I'm in a trial period and this problem forces me to stop registering bitdefender :(.

  • Thank you, Problem is solved ( IDM download with 16 connections, ping is low(speedtest.net) ). However, time to load a website is longer. I try to reload a few times,everything is normal, sometime I can't load it.


    Example: bongdaso.com, google.com, ict.net, start64.com(sometimes),...

    I have exactly the same problem.


    Very hard to open a web page, or not open at all. I uninstalled Bitdefender and everything works ok. I reinstalled the Bitdefender, and the version 15.0.27.325, all work ok.


    After the update size 27733kb, Bitdefender switched to version 15.0.27.338 and problems occurred again.


    It seems that the problem reproduces only on x64 systems.


    Please fix the problem.

    Problem with nightly 9.0a1, IE 9.0. Some website is problem (bongdaso.com(always) , google.com.vn, vnexpress.net, bitdefender.com (sometimes),etc...). I'm using Win 7 Ultimate x64, Bitdefender internet Security 2012 build 15.0.27.338

    you are wright bitdefender 2012 very slow internet problem if you bitdefender is not solve this problem goto buy another antivirus

    i install bitdefender total security 2012 in windows 7 service pack 1 32bit but sam problem slow download slow internet ple solve

  • IDM problem is solved but I have the following problems after installing BD2012 :


    1- Bittirrent download speed is decreased to a quarter (on the same torrent download : 220 kb/s >>> 45 kb/s)


    2- Your freedom never start a connection to a remote server


    After uninstalling BD2012 everything is OK . I'm using a fresh windows 7 64bit

    The problem occurs on any of the browsers: Mozilla Firefox, IE9, Google Chorme and found that the problem persists and SRWare Iron. There are many sites that charge is extremely difficult or can not load at all. I mention: login mail account - yahoo, google.com, ... Very few pages open in one click.


    I am firmly convinced that the problem arose with the last build .338

  • Same problem here, as far as i see IDM problem has been fix but the speed slightly decrease, for IE, FireFox and other web browser i realize they run slower then usual. I am using 2 computer, each running BitDefender Internet Security 2011 and 2012 to see the different. After small observation, BD_IS 2011 loading much faster than BD_IS 2012. For search advisor, BD_IS 2011 check link (Google.com) much faster than BD_IS 2012. I hope this problem be fix ASAP. BitDefender has been my first choice for Security Solution over 5 years and if this not fix i will turn to my second choice. I Love BitDefender and i trust team can work better than we expected to deliver what user want to protect their PC and Sever.
