Internet Is Incredibly Slow...

My internet was fine until I installed BD 2011 TS. Yes, I've already:

Unchecked Scan web (HTTP) traffic

Disabled the Search Advisor

Disabled the Antiphishing module for Firefox

Disabled both the AVC and IDS modules.

I'm sick of the endless problems that BD is causing me so any fix would be great. I came to BD from Trend Micro thinking it would be upgrade, but this is genuinely one of the most buggy anti-viruses I've ever used. Most of the bugs and glitches disappear after a few days but this one is obviously persistent.

Can you please explain what you mean by "My internet was fine until I installed BD 2011 TS" ? What exactly is happening ? Do you open a certain website for the browsing slowdown to occur ? Do you have any other security solutions installed on the same PC ? You are mentioning Trend Micro, have you uninstalled it before installing BitDefender ? If yes, how ?
