First Problem With Antivirus V10 Standard

When I start my computer I get the following error:


"LIVESRV.EXE linked to missing export KERNEL32.DLL:Open Thread"


I tried to repair and it wouldn't let me do that either or even delete the program altogether for a reinstall.


Any Ideas??

    Hello wht00ss,


    Did BitDefender work before, or you just installed it and it never worked correctly?


    If it worked before (and this error appeared sometime these days), then it might be caused by a bad update made by BitDefender a couple of days ago. The problem should have been fixed by LiveUpdate (of course, if that bad update shouldn't have affected the Update module).


    Try to remove BD using the Uninstall Tool, and then reinstall it using the latest kit from the website.
