Cannot Enable Firewall

Previously my computer was infected by multiple viruses. 30 over files were infected and the Bit defender crashed. I posted on the forum (forum link http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?sho...p;#entry117022) to seek for assistance and @Cristi Raducu sent me a virus removal procedure via email. I managed to remove the infected files as instructed and reinstalled Bit Defender. Since then, however, I could not enable Firewall and log in to Facebook (only Facebook - I think Facebook crashed too). When I click to enable the firewall, it says "failed to communicate with Bitdefender service".

My processor details: Intel ® Core ™i3 CPU 530 @ 2.93 GHz

Ram: 2.00 GB

System type: 32-bit Operating System

Using Bitdefender 2010

Thank you for your assistance.

    Hi Danny,

Thank you for your email. My Bit Defender internet security is now upgraded to the 2012 version. My firewall is now enabled. Thank you.

However, I still could not log in to Facebook. Kindly find attached the print screen of the error message when I tried to activate Bitdefender Safego. Your help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    cchaiyen

Apart from the fact that the 2013 suite brings lots of new features and improvements, it will most likely solve any issues that you may have encountered with your previous Bitdefender product.
