Offline Installation?

Hello Team


I just downloaded the Internet Security 2012 64b installation kit (250mb file) for my 7 ultimate. when I tried to install it (offline) error says "can not download one of the installation files".. I thought it was supposed to be offline installer.. wasn't it?

    Please post a screenshot of the error message along with the exact file name you used to install.


    Have you used a previous BitDefender product ? Are you using any other security solution on the same PC ?

    No I uninstalled the previous one that wasn't bitdefender

    Please follow the steps below and send me the generated log file:


    1. Download this file:

    2. Locate and open 'Sysdump.exe'


    3. A command prompt window will appear on your screen. Please note that the information gathering process can take several minutes therefore please wait until the window disappear by itself.


    4. The result will be the file called 'SYSDUMP.TAR'


    5. When you have the sysdump.tar please upload it HERE


    6. Include a DETAILED description of the issue you encounter: reproduce the steps you take until the issue occur and, if possible, enclose a screenshot of any error message you receive.


    7. Send me a PM (Private Message) with the download link and one for the topic you started.

    Sure.. I have Downloaded Bitdefender internet security 2012 from here:

    executed the file (without internet connection)


    chose Evaluate and then install


    and the error pops out

    You have TuneUp Utilities installed on the PC and its protection enabled as the processes below are running on that PC:


    - TuneUpUtilitiesService64.exe


    - TuneUpUtilitiesApp64.exe


    Uninstall it from Control Panel >> Programs and Features then restart the PC.


    Save the BitDefender installation tool from the link below then open it by right click on the saved file and select "Run as Administrator". Click on the 'Uninstall' button then WAIT to be asked to restart the PC.


    After restart use the following kit to install BitDefender and let me know if the same issue occur:

  • I followed the steps but it didn't work for me.. The same error


    I've just downloaded the file from somewhere else and installed it without any problem


    the files are exactly the same.. but one with error and the other healthy..
