Cnn Homepage And Antiphishing Toolbar

Total Security 2012 running IE9 on Windows 7. When I display CNN home page, I see this:


"This page


is safe


Bitdefender Total Security 2012


Antiphishing Filter


Blocks pages that contain phishing.


Antimalware Filter


Blocks pages that contain malware.


Search advisor


Provides advanced warning of risky websites in your search results."


at top of page. There is no antiphishing toolbar dragger. Also, the content display for cnn is in one column and there are no graphics.


I have not had a problem with any other www page, and can take a link off this initial page to other cnn pages and they are fine.


I did a "repair" to the installation but nothing changed.


Anybody have a solution?


(I sent a message to support several days ago but have not heard anything.)

    The issue occurs with any browser ? Please try Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. Also post a screenshot of how you see the CNN page. Are you referring to http://www.cnn.com ?

    I have no idea how to try a different browser. I'm attaching a screen shot of what I see when I go to www.cnn.com. If I turn off anti-phishing the BD message disappears from the top, but the format of the screen is still screwed up.


    I do not have a problem with any other site that I have tried.


    I really appreciate any help. I have another machine I want to upgrade from 2001 to 2012, but don't want to screw it up until I can resolve the problem on this one.

    I see this exact problem with the US and International cnn home pages. Mexico and Arabic look OK.

    I have IS2012, Windows XP SP3 and IE8.


    And no I'm not going to install a different browser :)

    I have also determined that the Sandbox icon on the left of the screen by the settings icon is selectable. That then displays exactly the same screen behind the first screen with a black/white stirpped border and a privacy control dragger in the middle (see attachment)post-71912-1314886418_thumb.jpg
