I have recently installed bid 2012 total security following is my observations


BID 2012 just blocks internet download manager from downloading in short functioning. After a lot of thought if i wanted to uninstall bid i decided to follow the tech and dev team advice in firewall section by changing the btdl.dll file to btdl.old in safe mode and by turning off auto updates yes it works and now i can download normally by idms...


my question how long do i have to stop my auto update to preserve this situvation?


also uniblue products are not working in bid 2012 envoirment i just have a refund from uniblue today . it was in bcas the program does not register and function wit bid2012 installed? well i cant tell them this


there are also big issue with traffic light which filters and makes the internet connection down by 50%.....

it totally slows down wenpages loading 80%..

but now all is back to normall after i have changed the .dll file so when can we expect a permanent solution?? :wub:

sites like http://3.hidemyass.com and proxy servers cant acess certain sites on my pc


i request the bid team to release a proper update please donot hurry a realease which will further create problems..


its a fantastic product but a major major product release is required.


also you have to understand that majority of the bid users are not computer doctors to understand the geek talk as far as consumers are concerned thay have chosen bid with trust and hard earned dollars so we need is trouble free and fantastic security solutions which doesnot ruin our computers or makes us install re install products ...


hope this is clearly understood ,, so having said this all now my question is


how long do i have to keep the auto update off to enable me to use idm and when is the major product release which will fix this issues?
