Unable To Stream Audio From Specific Internet Radio Website Range

Since I've installed BitDefender Total Security, I have not been able to stream audio from the website below:

http://player.streamtheworld.com/_players/citadel/?sid=1083

I have tried to get streams from other online radio sites that also use the StreamTheWorld player on their sites, and it always stays on this status: "connection in progress". I get the same results from Chrome, Firefox, Pale Moon and IE9. Is there some settings that have to be specially modified to get these streams?

Welcome to the forum.

See if this helps: open BD and go into Settings-->Privacy Control-->Antiphishing, click on the link Whitelist and enter the website's main URL player.streamtheworld.com. Click Save then Close and exit BD. Test the website to see if it works.

Still no luck. The player keeps looking for the data stream.

Please update BitDefender and make sure you have the latest product update installed. Restart the PC then check to see if the issue still persist.

If it does:

- disable Firewall and check to see if still reproduce;

- disable AVC (Settings >>> Antivirus >>> Active Virus Control) and check to see if still reproduce;

- disable Auto Scan and see if the issue still reproduce;
