Windows Live Mail Needs Firewall Turned Off?

Hi,
I installed 2012 Total Security. Now Windows Live Client does not work unless I turn off the firewall? I cannot configure firewall as well.
I have allowed these EXE's:
wlmail.exe
wlcomm.exe
Yet Mail does not work.
Please help.
