Accessing Netgear Router

Hi!

Just installed a new Netgear N600 router and am running BDIS2011 on a desktop that is hardwired into the router.

Instructions with the router said to access the router via http://www.routerlogin.net to midify wifi settings. I cannot access that url UNLESS I have disabled BD firewall.

Initially I was unable to access it via http://192.168.1.1 but now I seem to occasionally be able to.

I'd like to be able to access the router to change its settings without having to disable the firewall in the future.

I've looked at other similar threads and have tried those suggestions to no avail.
