Total Security 2012 Keeps Crashing

Hi

I have installed Total Security 2012 which for some reason keeps crashing and becomes unrespnsive with a windows prompt to restart the PC.

I have tried completely uninstalling ....same result

The only way around it is to regularly run a repair wizard

Any ideas its driving me nuts now

    Thank you.

  • Same here...ever since I upgraded to this new console it keeps crashing on me.

    What do I need to do?

  • Here the same... after the last update vsserv.exe continues crashing.

    I did the report yesterday when it crashed for the second time, but today it crashed again.

    I've sent you the report via PM

  • yep those are exactly the screen shots Im seeing - it I run to uninstall but then 'repair' it seems to come back up for a couple of days then crash again - I suspect its following the update process but I need to check the logs properly.

    Hi guys

    I've looked over those logs and I didn't find anything suspicious.

    Please repair the product, reboot, manually install the latest update and reboot again.

    [How to Repair Bitdefender 2012]

    - Click on the START menu button;

    - Go to (All) Programs -> Bitdefender 2012 -> choose "Repair or Remove";

    - Follow the on-screen instructions and restart the computer each time you are requested to;

    - Register and activate the product, then open Bitdefender and run a new update; reboot again if requested;

    - please test to see if the issue still replicates.

  • Thanks for the advice, Cristi, but the issue is now even worse.

    Before, the issue was happening every time I was doing a system scan, now it directly happens on windows start.

    I've decided to completely remove Total Security with the uninstall tool, hoping it works, but before of that I'm doing a new report in which I'm sure you can see at least the Windows administrative events generated.
