If you receive the error message when you start your machine or during the installation of Bitdefender 2012, please note that you will need to reinstall Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2010 Service Pack 1.


Please download and install the following file:


-for 32 bit operating systems:

-for 64 bit operating systems:


http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=8328


http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=13523


Now, just follow these steps and reinstall the product:
