Total Security 2012 Keeps Crashing Pc

I installed BitDefender Total Security 2010 yesterday replacing 2009 version. Install was fine but it crashes the pc every half hour.

I uninstalled it and ran 12 hours no problem. Reinstalled and problem returned, not solved by a repair.

Reporting through web site was not able to add supporting file, Using support tool just used 50% of cpu for 20 minutes until the next crash.

Is it supposed to stop Malware or be Malware ??

How can I get back to the previously working 2009 version?

Hello, You have stated two versions ie:2012 and 2010. Which version are you currently using? If you are using 2012 version, your problem may be because of error in installation. You said that problem occurred even after reinstall. Once please use Bitdefender uninstall tool for clean uninstall. BD Uninstall Tool
