Bitdefender Total Sec 2012 Issues

Hello


Three days ago I purchased 2 years for 3 machines of Bitdefender total security 2012. I couldnt be more unhappy.


The laptops have slowed down considerably, one now takes over 5 minutes to reboot, 2 will not come back from standby mode, and internet browsing is seriously slow.


I have emailed support who just come back telling me what the minumum technical requirements of the machines have to me, which they ALL COMPLY.


I have emailed support back twice since and havent had ANY response.


I have now looked at many forums and see complaints all over the place about this 2012 product.


I would like to speak to someone from Bitdefender on the phone from support, but cannot seem to find a number ANYWHERE.


What is up with this product? We uninstalled off one machine and put Microsoft Secutrity Essentials on, and all issues went away, so its clearly the Bitdefender causing it.


Can you tell me how I can


1. Contact support via phone


2. Whether you are releasing a version that is not clearly a BETA version and you are using your client base to test


or if none of this is an option,


3. How can I get my money back, I paid good money for this!

  • I, as well as many on this forum have experienced the same problems with the BD Total Security software and BitDefender has done nothing to solve the problems. And you are correct...the problems being experienced are directly related to the BD software and more specifically to the latest 'version update'.
