Outlook 2010 And Bis 2012

I have used Bit defender anti virus for a while and found it ok but after upgrading to bit defender internet security 2012 every email I click on in outlook 2010 causes temp cache file links to open in my browser.

Links like file:///C:/Users/Optikn3rv/AppData/Local/Microsoft/Windows/Temporary%20Internet%20Files/%7BE1C2E81B-D6FB-4572-BB73-CEF55E3690BA%7D/%7B3635466D-BC0F-45E6-8316-14DA55782335%7D.html

Its driving me nuts as it opens about 3-4 tabs in firefox anyone know what causes it?

The actual html page just says There are no items to show in this view.

Thanks for the quick reply but it didn't help.

I even got the app outlook tools to clean the temp folder. Still when I open outlook and click an email it opens up the same amount of tabs in firefox.

I uploaded a screen shot of it.

unfortunately I cannot keep using BSIS 2012 with the various issues so have logged a ticket for the 30 day refund scheme but my ticket does not show in mybitdefender. I will go back to using the anti virus program.

I went for the fix it from Microsoft and its still happening. I do not get an error message. I can access hyperlinks out of outlook, I get popups when I select an email by moving my mouse over it. I have posted screen shots etc and so far 2 ways to fix it have failed. Having payed over 500 euro for office 2010 pro I will have to delete BDIS 2012 and just install the anti virus as BDIS & Office 2010 just don't work together. I do not even know what bit of BDIS is causing it as I could shut that off.

Yes office is up to date, it only started happening when I upgraded to BDIS 2012

I have uninstalled office 2010 and rebooted my computer but after reinstalling office I still get the same issues. I then updated office and still have the same issues.

It looks like installing BDIS 2012 did something to outlook and I cannot get rid of it. I am not willing to reinstall windows as I would lose too much data.

There is nothing on Microsoft about it either.

I have re submitted a refund request so hopefully I get a ticket ID, I want a refund for the internet security packet but want to keep my Anti virus packet.

It seems the ticket creation system is not creating tickets. I logged another and went to live chat and Asher could not see my new ticket either. He as sent my request though for a refund.
