Hello
I will try to reproduce the current situation.
I will get back to you when the analysis is over.

Hello
The analysis is over and I've found out that your system doesn't meet the software requirements to run Bitdefender 2012.
You need to install Windows 7 Service Pack 1 via Windows Update.
http://windows.microsoft.com/installwindows7sp1
After that:
- Click on the START menu button;
- Go to (All) Programs -> Bitdefender 2012 -> choose "Repair or Remove";
- Follow the on-screen instructions and restart the computer each time you are requested to;
- Register and activate the product, then open Bitdefender and run a new update; reboot again if requested;
- please test to see if the issue still replicates.
Note: if you cannot find the "Repair or Remove" feature please go back to Start > run > type "appwiz.cpl" and hit Enter (for Windows Vista and 7 you can type directly in the Search bar). Search for Bitdefender > choose Uninstall/Remove > then click on the Repair button.
Should you require further assistance please don't hesitate to contact us. Have a nice day.0 -
I have followed the instructions, but the repair failed and I had to uninstall using uninstall tool, and reinstall and update. The update is also slow and buggy, like the firewall! I'm keeping an eye on the problem(s) including one where the paranoid mode despite being on the programs were allowed or blocked automatically. I played with the lan settings in the fwall, and it is ok for the moment. I'll have to keep a sharp eye out

Hi
Please note that I've used your email address(the one that you used to register on Bitdefender Forum) and I've created on your behalf this ticket ID: 201111101000878
I've sent you further instructions via email.
Thank you.0 -
I followed the instruction. Even the online installer is buggy in this version! I had try twice before installation. I turned off modes I don't need and, ticked off "fix issues" like antispam,parental and modes I don't need (selected 'permanently'), the main window shows okay (colorwise), but icon is abnormal in systray! I'm getting really tired of this, pardon my expression.

Cristi B. can I turn off firewall and install Zonealarm free for the time you guys resolve innumerable firewall issues? Or will it conflict.
