Visible File Extensions?!

Hi, today my file extensions "decided" to be visible.I haven't touch anything since yesterday, so what or WHO could it be?

    Are you sure you did not uncheck the box next to Hide file extensions for known file types in the Folder Options windows?


    Did anyone fumble on your computer and modify some parameters?


    I strongly recommend not hiding extensions in Windows Explorer, however you should decide on your own what to do.


    Could it be a virus? a queer one indeed... :P do you suspect any intrusion?


    Please give information on your system (I only use the old XP, maybe there are other procedures with Vista and Seven...)
