Allow Drive Mapping To Idisk

In windows 7, I am trying to map a network drive to my iDisk however, I can only map the drive when the firewall is turned off.

Where do I add this type of exception in Bitdefender IS 2012?

Thanks

    Hello

In this case, please follow the steps from below in order to change your network type and set a zone for your drive.

Open Bitdefender using the desktop icon.

Now click on "Settings" button. Go to the firewall module on the left and select the "advanced" tab from the right side. Now click on "Adapter rules". A new window will open. Click on "Add Zone" button. Enter the IP (look in the user guide in order to find it out) an click OK. Close all the windows and reboot your machine. Tell me if your device is working now.

If you need any further assistance on this issue, please feel free to let us know. Have a nice day.

  • Hello Christian,

Is it possible to edit the zone so that only certain ports are open, rather than all the ports of a particular IP address?

    Thank you.

  • Hi juggler :)

    Welcome to our forums.

Some changes will be made to the firewall module. As soon as I have new data, I will post here.

Thank you for your feedback. Take care.
