Change Over From Mcafee

I am currently running McAfee ant virus software, but I'm getting a bit leery about it slipping in the ratings, so I'm casting about trying to find the best AV software available. Every site I've looked at has pointed to BitDefender as being the best, so I think I'll give it a go. Will I have any problems loading BD over the top of McAfee? Has anyone any personal experience of this, any crumbs gratefully accepted.

For the best chance of a successful installation of BD, first use the official McAfee uninstall tool to completely remove the program. Links to many of the official uninstall tools can be found in this pinned topic.
