Adware Vdm
Hello bitdefender team
I ended up with this adware virus, digstream.exe and even after uninstalling and reinstalling windows xp, and immediately installing bitdefender the virus was found to still be on my pc in c:\system Volume information_restore
So how is it possible for a virus to stay connected to hard drive even after formating and re-install. I was finally able to delete it after formating and reinstalling again and again. At one point there was four of them in the same location. How can I be totally positive the virus is gone? Or will not return if I uninstall and do a reinstall again?
Thanks Earl......

Dear earl
A possible explanation could be that you replaced an infected backup after you formatted your hard disc.
What version of BitDefender are you using the 2008 products are able to delete the system restore points automatically at the next reboot. Another possibility is you need it do see the live streams on ESPN motion , ABC tv an maybe others. So each time you want to download or watch these videos you will get digstream again. It will automatically load with windows startup.
