i have windows live mail and i want to ask if its antispam filter is quite secure or do i have to go with bitdefender;s antispam. thanks
I'm not sure what you mean by "secure" but I use WLM and it's spam filter seems up to the task of detecting spam. On BDAV 2012, I also have the options checked to scan all incoming & outgoing emails for malware.

If you have a compatible email client(Outlook or Thunderbird), the Antispam filter will scann all the emails received in that account(you have to set your email client to hotmail/live mail).
Bitdefender can't scan webmail services.
