File In An Archive?

Hi Guys

I have been experiencing problems that I have not been able to solve. Bitdefender support told me to clean my recycle bin and do another scan. This is the result, some problems solved, most still there. Can anyone please help?

Thanks very much

  • The remaining issue are in two categories - one is an infected email in your Outlook Express inbox. BitDefender can't delete a specific email in the database, you need to find it in your inbox and delete it manually. The rest of the infected files have been backed up by System Restore, so you need to purge it. That is done by disabling it and then enabling it again - right click on My Computer, go to Properties. Click on the System Restore tab, click on the Turn off system restore on all drives box. Click Apply. Then enable it back and run the BitDefender scanner again to make sure all is clean.
