Fatal Error During Installtion

Hi All,


I´ve just tried installing Bitdefender 2012 on my new netbook but at around 80% it´s says: "Fatal error during installtion"


I've tried:


  • Switching off the Windows Firewall
  • The install debug key thing
  • Unblocking the installtion file in the properties tab
  • Run as adminstrator


But no luck what so ever.


Can someone please advise me what to do?

    Have you used the online kit(the small installer) or the offline available here?

    What operating system do you have on your machine? Do you have the latest Service Pack installed?


    Have you used Bitdefender before? Did you removed the other security solution from your machine?


    Do you have a ticket created in the system?
