Adware.mywebsearch.cr - How To Remove It?

Every time I load up Firefox, BD pops up saying one of my cache files is infected with this adware. Googled it and no luck. What's up with this one? Is it critical?

    Did you try cleaning your cache?

    hi you can try using Ccleanner to delete cookies and temporary internet files :P

    I did clean my cache and also used Ccleaner. It's still there.

    Mywebsearch is a toolbar which sends information about your surfing habits. Sometimes it's optional but BitDefender will still detect it in the installer. It's legit once it's mentionned in the end user license agreement that you have to accept when you want to install certain software.Which file was being detected?


    Reboot your pc into safe mode. You can do that by just rebooting but press several times on the F8 before the windows loading screen press enter. Log on with your account and run ccleaner again.
