Newbie to forum but have used Bitdefender successfully for several years.
Recently upgraded to the 2012 package from Bitdefender 2010 which I had used with no problems.
Earlier this week I tried to launch my photo management software (KODAK Easyshare) only to see the home window disappear within a second or so. Unfortunately I had Game Mode active on Bitdefender so no pop-up was generated.
After uninstalling and re-installing the Easyshare programme the problem was still there.
I switched off the Game Mode and tried again. This time I received a pop up which stated the "Intrusion detection has blocked a potentially malicious application"
I have gone into the Firewall Application Rules and added the Easyshare.exe file as a permitted application (I think) but it still won't allow the programme to launch.
What am I doing wrong? Is there another file and pathway that should be added?
I am desperate as I have upwards of 1000 images stored and catalogued within Easyshare and I want to acces them but can't
