Bitdefender Internet Security 2012 was awarded a "Top Rated Product of 2011" nod from AV-Comparatives (one of five products to receive that award). Congratulations. Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 won the Product of the Year award for 2011.

My hope is that Bitdefender takes a look at the report and makes improvements to become an even better product. Some suggestions for improvement are included in the AV-Comparatives report.

    What I thought was interesting was that Bitdefender was included in 3 categories, including a Gold award for Malware Removal, and most importantly, a Gold for the Whole Dynamic Protection category. Kaspersky was listed in only two, yet I believe they received the award mainly as it was the only software to get Advanced+ in every single test.
