Cannot Connect To Ip Cameras On My Network

I'm using BIS 2012 and it prevents me from connecting to IP cameras that are physically on the very same network.

I cannot connect to cameras neither using the software (Videoviewer) provided from the camera company nor from the web browser.

Problem started right after i upgraded to BIS 2012.

I am able to see the cameras when i uninstall antivirus software.

I am using windows 7 Professional.

You can find the log file created with Bitdefender_Supporttool at the following link.

  • Hi :)

Please right click on BitDefender icon from system tray(the "B" icon) and choose "Show". In the main window, click on "Settings". From the advanced interface, click on Privacy Control module and select the Antiphishing tab.

Please disable all the options from there and reboot your machine.

Let me know if everything is OK now.

    Hi Christian,

Thanks for the advice but disabling antiphishing doesn't change anything, I am still unable to connect to cameras.

Its been like a month and Bitdefender crew cannot seem to find a solution?... this is really disappointing.

    Hello :)

A product update was released. Your build should be 15.0.37.1560(please right click on Bitdefender icon from system tray-near the clock-and choose "About". You should see in the left side the build number).

In order for the product update to be installed, you need to reboot your machine(you should see in the Events -> "Reboot required" under the Update module).
