In Connection With Bitdefender Internet Security 2010

Please help, this might be a dumb question, but just want to make sure before I purchase from bitdefender.com

I have Bitdefender Internet Security 2010 64 bit edition currently installed on my pc.

I need to renew my licence, but the only licence keys available is 2012 editions.

Will a 2012 Internet Security licence key work on my 2010 edition, or will I need to purchase a 2010 I.S. key?

And if so, where on bitdefender's website might I find a 2010 key?

There are 2 possibilities for your case:

1. You purchase Bitdefender 2012 and upgrade to it from Bitdefender 2010 by following the steps from here:

2. You purchase Bitdefender 2012 and we will convert that new key(from 7 characters) into a 20 characters key that will work both with Bitdefender 2010 and 2012.

Let me know your decision.
