1. RUNNING BITDEFENDER TOTAL SECURITY 2012 WITH KEY 0AEXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX


2. FOUND BROWSING SPEED SLOW, ALWAYS TRUFOS ERROR ON SYSTEM START UP IN EVENT VIEWER, NO PROPER USER LEVEL SETTINGS FOR QUARANTINE FALSE POSITIVES, REMOVED CLEAN FILES FROM THE SYSTEM & REMOVED SCAN ACTIVITY BAR.


3. FRUSTATED WITH BITDEFENDER TOTAL SECURITY 2012 AND DECIDED, TO DOWNGRADE TO BITDEFENDER TOTAL SECURITY 2011.


4. BEFORE UNINSTALLING BITDEFENDER TOTAL SECURITY 2012 THOUGHT TO REGISTER IT WITH NEWLY PURCHASED KEY ON E-BAY, INDIA – 3XXXXXX. ENTERED THE NEW KEY ON REGISTRATION SCREEN IN BITDEFENDER WINDOW SHOWN SOME ERROR.


5. SO, WENT TO MY BITDEFENDER, THERE MY NEW REGISTRED KEY WAS SHOWN WITH VALIDITY PERIOD OF 365 DAYS. DUE TO THAT AND WAS ALSO IN THE MOOD OF DOWN GRADING DIDN’T BOTHERED ABOUT THE ERROR ABOUT THE REGISTRATION SHOWN ON MY LAPTOP SCREEN ON BITDEFENDER TOTAL SECURITY 2012 REGISTRATION SCREEN.


6. UNINSTALLED BITDEFENDER TOTAL SECURITY 2012, RESTSRTED, RAN THE UNINSTALLER TOOL FROM BITDEFENDER, RESTSRTED, START INSTALLING BITDEFENDER TOTAL SECURITY 2011. WHILE INSTALLING BITDEFENDER TOTAL SECURITY 2011, ON THE REGISTRATION SCREEN WHEN I GAVE MY NEW KEY, I CAN’T ABLE TO VALIDATE. SO PROCEEDED WITH THE OLD KEY AND FINISHED THE INSTALLATION.


7. THEN CONTACTED THE BITDEFENDER GLOBAL SUPPORT ON CHAT & PHONE. THEY TOLD TO DO THE INSTALLATION AGAIN, FROM THE DOWNLOAD LINKS WHICH THEY WILL SEND TO ME.


8. DID THE SAME THING, AS PER THE GLOBAL SUPPORT. BUT AGAIN UNSUCCESSFUL. SO, CONTACTED THE INDIAN BITDEFENDER SUPPORT & EXPLAINED THE SITUATION. THEY TOLD TO INSTALL TEAMVIEWER. DID AS THEY SAID. THEN, THEY TAKE THE CONTROL OF MY SYSTEM AND TRIED. RESULT UNSUCCESSFULL.


9. THEN, THEY TOLD ME TO WAIT FOR A WHILE. SO THAT THEY WILL CONTACT THE SUPPORT AND WILL FORWARD THE SOLUTION TO ME, ONCE IT RECEIVED. DID AS THEY SAID.


10. FOLLOWED THE INSTRUCTIONS AS GIVEN BY THEIR GOLD SUPPORT. AGAIN UNSUCCESSFUL. SO AGAIN I CONTACTED THE GLOBAL SUPPORT. THEY HAVE ADVICED ME TO REMAIN ON THE OLD KEY AND THEY WILL MERGE THE NEW KEYS VALIDITY WITH THE OLD ONE.


11. FROM THAT TIME TO TILL NOW NOTHING BEING DONE AT THE BITDEFENDER END. THEY TOLD IT WILL TAKE 24 TO 48 HRS TO GIVE THE SUPPORT ON THIS ISSUE. NOW IT’S MORE THAN 48 HRS. AGAIN I CONTACTED THEM & TOLD THAT MY INTERNET CLOCK ON MY LAPTOP IS SHOWING IT’S MORETHAN 48 HRS. THEY REPLIED, IF IT’S NOT ATTENDED IN 48 HRS, WE WILL TRANSFER IT TO THE PRIORITY SECTION. BUT STILL NO RESPONSE FROM ANY OF THE SUPPORT PERSONS ABOUT THE MERGING OF MY 3 USER KEY.


12. LESSON LEARNED, NEVER TURN BACK TO THIS USELESS PRODUCT & COMPANY.
