Dear Pink
There is a possibility that the spam filter of thunderbird has moved the spam mails before BitDefender filters reacted. Press also on the settings button that you will find on the antispam toolbar what is the default location. How is the spam folder called? If it's also spam then BitDefender will move the mails to that folder.

Hi Niels
Thanks for your help, but I dont hundrstand you, When you asked me "How is the spam folder called?" You refere to Thundervird Spam Folder or BD Sapm Folder? If you refere to Thunderbird Spam Folder, it called only "Spam", but if you refre to BD Spam Folder, it called "SpamKiller" that folder was created by BD when i Install it... So in the Thunderbird mail acount I have Two Spam folders now... One "Spam" that is The Thunderbird and another one called "SpamKiller" that is the BitDefender created... And When you say "Press also on settings button.." I ask you what settings button? The Tunderbird settings or the BD settings? If you refered to BD settings I just go to this settings and in menu "Antispam" appears a submenu called "Status", a submenu "Protection Level" and another submenu called "Antispam Statisctics". In that submenu "Antispam Statistics" appears:
- Rceived e-mails (this session) ..... 43
- Spam e-mail- s (this session) ..... 24
- Total e-mails received................. 90
- Total spam e-mails...................... 50
My question is that "Here is this 24 Spam e-mails in (this session)? and here is the 50 Total spam e-mails?
And Why I cannot find the way to BD spam folder in the installation folder? I cannot see this 24 or 50 spam e-mails....
I wait for your help.... and sorry my english because Im a portuguese and your language is dificult to me...
Thanks again...0 -
Dear pink
English isn't also my native language either.
No, the default folder for spam that BitDefender creates during installation is spam. Normally you must see the BitDefender Antispam Toolbar in Thunderbird click on settings, you will see move spam to deleted items. BitDefender moves them to the spam subfolder in the deleted items folder in thunderbird.
Spamkiller is a different product. I did some research and it could be made by Mcafee.
The spam mails are being stored in the email database of thunderbird more specific in the deleted items folder.

Dear Niels,
You are the reason!!! Before I install BitDefender I just have installed McAfee Secutity, and it created a Spam Folder called "SpamKiller". When I uninstall McAfee, to install BD, the Uninstall program dont clean this folder "SpamKiller"... Now there are two spam folders in the Thunderbir: One "Spam" belongs Thunderbird and anopther "Spam" belongs to BD... And both folders works well... Thanks...
One Question more: How I can configure BD to training spam emails?
Thanks0 -
Dear Pink
I am not familiar with Thunderbird but normally you must find a BitDefender toolbar in Thunderbird. Click on a spam mail and click on add spammer. If you want just to block that specific mail select mail address. Select domain name to give an example if you enter *@spam.la everything that comes from the domain @spam.la will be marked as spam. One warning if you do this also if one of your friends has an address from the same domain it will be also marked as spam then you can press this no spam. Start also BitDefender click on settings once you are in the BitDefender Security Center, antispam, click on the settings tab, check everything under advanced antispam filters and press on apply.
Best regards
