A Way To Just Disabling Real-time Scanning On File

There are a bug/missing a huge fonctionnality in IS 2012

in Real-time section we can see this ->

but there are no more way to just disabling the Realtime scanning for file but let the email real-time scanning. in IS 2011 it was possible.. hope it will be added/fixed.

In Bitdefender 2012 all the shields can be turned off with just one button. This is what users want and we have listened their demands when the new product was build.

It is not a bug or a missing function.

but in 2011 we can cut also all the shield (ok may be not with one button)

but in 2012 this is not a problem to put on global button to shutdown all shield, and have a individual control of all shield.

now with th 2012version we can't just disabling the Realtime scanning for file but let the email real-time scanning. it a shame.

really disappointed of the 2012 version.

The situation is quite simple: even if the malware filter is turned on, it only scans the attachments. If you manage to download that on the Desktop and the Real Time Protection for files is turned off, there is a high chance to get infected.

That's why we recommend to always keep the shield turned on and if case of False Positive, send us the sample so we can remove the detection.
