Bitdefender 2012 Total Security Resource Issue

I'm an owner of 2 core i3 2nd generation computer, where 1 is 32bit and the other 64bit. I installed bitdefender on my 64bit machine it it works perfectly. No issues so far, but on my 32bit it uses almost 10% of my RAM usage and 25% of my processing speed. What's up with that? I know bitdefender is one of da best protection software you can find anywhere, but it so much depended on resourcesn I would have to switch back to my previous protection software.
