hello bitdefender team
Thought you would like to know that I found adware.vdm on the windows os xp cd sent to me with my new dell dimension. I just talked to naveed in india dell tech support. Its the first he's heard of it. I have had other antivirus's programs that never picked it up until now.
So here is the log file. I also sent a copy to dell support for them to look at as well.

hello bitdefender team
I've just reinstalled xp and immediately removed espn, but bitdefender found the virus in the system restore, so I turned off system restore and that seemed to resolve the problem. I am sending you both scans to review if you wish to.
Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks Earl/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=1093" data-fileid="1093" rel="">virus_scan.xml

Hello earl,
Because this supposed infection is on an official CD, I tend to believe that it is a False Positive (clean file, wrongly detected as infected).
In order to confirm or not that this is actually a real infection, please put the reported file(s) in a ZIP file, protected by the password infected and attach it to a new post. A Virus Analyst will take a look at it, and will tell you for sure if it is or not a real infection.
In the ZIP file, you should add the file \$OEM$\BONUS\EXTRAS\ESPN\MOTIONSETUPMCE.EXE.
