[resolved] False Advertisement?

I been chatting with Customer Service person stated "when it says 3 users it means that each product ( Total Security, Bitdefender for Mac and Bitdefender Mobile Security) can be installed on 3 devices." (also stated here)

" .... It is not a lie, I think it is misspelled, because 1 user means 1 device. ... [we chat] ... I can only presum they didn't translate it correctly. As Bitdefender is a romanian company , maybe this part has been incorrectly translated. "

Even if it was typo under USA law wouldn't that be False Advertisement? (Its my pet peeve on this issues.)

Hello TheMadCat,

I believe it is false advertisement if the product does not function as promised. This being said, you can use the Sphere license key to register an unlimited number of devices in your household.

In regards to the convoluted statement in the Sphere advertisement, perhaps we can do something in this regard and your feedback will be forwarded to the marketing team.

In the Announcement: Bitdefender Sphere All-Around Security stated

Protects 3 PCs, 3 Macs, and 3 Android devices (Smartphones or Tablets)

So where the "unlimited number of devices"?

Side question if its not unlimited number of devices can you convert 3 Macs to 3 more PC?

I agree, HOWEVER the thread topic AND the customer services agent NOT "unlimited number of devices" as seen below:

As I said, the current information regarding the Sphere product given in customer service chats is outdated and the my statement holds true. The product is intended for home use only, for up to 3 users and each each user can cover an unlimited number of devices.
