Bd Is 2008 Rootkit Scan Will Not Let Me Quarantine
TITLE SHOULD READ BD IS 2008 as in BitDefender Internet Security 2008.
I've run Deep Scan and BD detects I have 400+ rootkits. I click on the top field option to QUARANTINE which then changes the rootkit field to quarantine. Click on NEXT but then it simply flashes the screen and brings me back to the same screen.
I click to UNHIDE and then it runs thru the process and informs me the rootkits will be visible after reboot.
I reboot and run DEEP SCAN again, same thing.
What's happening when I click on UNHIDE. And are the rootkits being deleted? I started with ~350 rootkits and now I have over 450+.
How do I DELETE the rootkits?
