B.i.s. And Windows 7 64 Bit

I'm in the process of reviewing BitDefender Internet Secirity for purchase (I'm currently running KIS) and would like to find out if B.I.S runs also in 64 bit mode. Are there setup install files for Windows 7 64 bit or does it run only on 32bit mode? How does this work?

Bitdefender 2012 can be installed on 32 or 64 bit systems(XP SP3, Vista SP2, 7 SP1-with one exception: Windows XP x64 is no longer supported).

In order to switch to Bitdefender 2012, please follow the steps from below:

0. Uninstall any other security solutions from your PC and reboot.

1. Download and install the software and then run it to clear your computer's registry:
