Windows Vista Validation Issues
Hi
I am having issues with Bitdefender 2012 and Windows Vista.
I keep getting a message on this particular laptop that an Unauthorised program has changed the validation of my Windows product (it's something like that) and then it just keeps shutting the laptop down.
I did a reformat of the laptop, reinstalled Bitdefender restarted the laptop again I got this message reappearing and unable to get back in, reformatted again, everything was going along alright until I reinstalled the Bitdefender program, everything went crazy, I am currently waiting for this particular laptop to finish reformating again so I can install another virus program onto the laptop not happy about having to install another program but I don't know how long it will take me to get the help I need and I want to be able to get onto this particular laptop without any drama's 3 reformats in one day is a JOKE! lucky it didn't have a lot of programs on it after the 1st reformat. " />
I have 1 desktop computer running Windows Vista as well, and 1 other laptop running Windows 7 also with Bitdefender 2012 installed on them. I haven't had any of issues with my validation of my windows programs on either one of these, just this one particular laptop that is.

I did have the Service Pack 2 installed before I originally installed the Bitdefender onto this particular laptop. Then I started getting the messages after installing Bitdefender. I did a total reformat of the laptop after constantly getting the messages and then I couldn't do any updates at all. I kept getting a pop up from windows saying that updates were installed but nothing and the validation messages come up.
I did have another Security program on the pc and done an uninstall of it when the program expired I also looked into the "program and windows" files to make sure it was totally removed then installed Bitdefender. When I did the reformats I didn't use the pre installed security program, I put the windows defender on and redownloaded Bitdefender.
For now I put another secuirty program (only a trial version) on whilst I waited for a response on this forum, I was able to the Windows Updates to install the Service Pack 2 onto the laptop. I will when I get a chance tomorrow uninstall the other security program after downloading Bitdefender then load Bitdefender on and see if that makes a difference with this issue.
