[resolved] Install Hangs On Scan

Options

Using windows 7, installing internet security.


I have run the un-install tool and tried to install several times. The install completes the download but the scan hangs on 90%.


So I am unable to complete the installation.


I tried the bitdefender online quick scan in chrome and it also hangs at 90% saying "negotiating with server".


Any help would be apprecated.

    Ask for BitDefender's full kit!.

    Welcome to the forum!


    Do you have a firewall installed or something that will filter the traffic?


    Have you tried to install the program without an active internet connection using the offline kit?

  • Thankyou - I appreciate the help from both of you.


    The full version worked.


    The computer is only a couple of months old and the only virus software which has been on it is the trial version of bitdefender total.


    The online quick scan still doesnt work though, hangs on 90% still. But I dont need it now.


    PS I have been using Bitdefender for many many years and it has always been great.
