Adware Removal Help?

I don't actually know what I'm doing. I downloaded SpyDoctor, which scanned and told me I have adware and other infections but won't fix them unless I buy a program.

It told me I have:

Dear slapkittens

I recommend that you download and install this program.Once installed double click on the shortcut. You will see an icon appears that looks like an insect (bug) right click on it and press on check for updates install it. Do the same thing but click now on scan for adware,spyware,malware,... , scan your pc,select complete scan and let the program remove everything.

I recommend that you download also the latest hijackthis version. Make a new log and add it at your next reply.

I recommend that you go start,control panel,software uninstall (remove) java runtime environnement. Download and install this version.

Download also Internet Explorer 7.
