Mozilla Thunderbird

I have outlook express installed on my pc currently with the BD 2008 antispam toolbar installed. I hate outlook express with a passion and plan on switching to Mozilla Thunderbird. My question is how will I get the Antispam toolbar to work with Thunderbird? Will the toolbar automatically install itself onto Thunderbird? (Assuming I make Thunderbird my default browser)

I've asked (via chat) about the toolbar in TB and it doesn't work 9yet). Email will be scanned fine, but no toolbar.
