Hi Chris,


I have problem with updates. In the events>updates: updates succeeded updates failed; the same date and hour. Updates succeeded 2012-05-24 - 16:43:31 and updates failed: 2012-05-24 - 16:43:31. What is the truth? I'm fed up of uninstalling and installing BDTS 2012. I did uninstalling using bitdefender tool even in safe mode, rebooted, CCleaner, rebooted, installing the product, rebooted, registered the product, updated, rebooted etc but the problem is not solved. For me it is important to know if the antivirus is updated in spite of this minor bug? Isent all the information but the error still persists. Can this be fixed?

    I have analyzed the logs and I only found some tweaking/optimization software in the logs. Have you used then when Bitdefender was installed, especially on the registry cleaning part?

    I did a repair a few minutes ago and after rebooting the computer I open Bitdefender and on the left was written in red that there is a problem to fix. I updated and now the colour is green. But in events>updates the same problem: update succeeded, update failed; the same date and hour. Update failed error -1007. Can the problem be fixed?

    I wanted to restore my pc to an earlier time. The restore was incomplete because some files were blocked by BDTS, and this is not for the first time. Regarding the updates, I solved the problem by reinstalling OS W7HP.I changed from W7HP64b to W7HP32b. For the time being I have no problems with updates. In events>update: update succeeded. I did do not a restore to see if it works. Reading the forum some have problems with updating Bitdefender. I hope that bitdefender team will fix this in the next build or update. I wish you success.
