Windows Xp
Hi there
I want to buy this product but on http://anti-virus-software-review.com
there wasn't a full blue check mark for Windows XP and I was wondering what that meant exactly.
I'm interested in buying immediately.
Is this antivirus software compatible with Windows XP?
thanks for getting back to me,
Mara

Hello Mara,
BitDefender 2008 series is 100% compatible with Windows XP SP2. The reason why on that site is not fully checked is because it says that BitDefender can only be used on 32bit operating systems.
This information, however, is false. This was the situation until BitDefender v10.
Starting with the BitDefender 2008 series (the current version), BitDefender also supports 64bit Operating Systems (Windows XP x64 and Windows Vista x64).
Take a look HERE. If you need a 64bit version, click on the link looking for 64 bit versions? .

Dear Mara
You can verify it by doing this go to start, run, type winver press enter. If you see x64,64 bit then you have to download the 64 bit version otherwise you have to download and install the 32 bit version. Most operating systems that are selled to customers are 32 bit versions.
Best regards

This problem occurs with me too but rarely, like once in three months. Dont Know when or how it occurs though. I use Windows XP SP3 and update it with latest releases of Microsoft patches.
