Network Map Issues

I have two PCs in my house and I've installed BitDefender on both. PC#1 has had the network map enabled as the Primary. When I try to add PC#2 as a regular PC, it claims that BitDefender is not installed or is not accessible. Is there something I'm doing wrong? I've also tried enabling PC#2 network map and joining as a regular PC but that doesn't work either.

Thank you for that Bri. I did search the forums for an answer before I posted the question, but I guess I didn't look good enough.

I don't have BitDefender firewall so I disabled the Windows firewall and both machines and I was able to get the Network Map to work. however, when I re-enabled the Windows firewall, the connection broke. Using TCPView from Sysinternals, I was able to see that "vsserv.exe" was trying to connect to my remote PC. I allowed that through the Windows Firewall on both PCs and all is well.

Anyone know of anything I should be concerned about by allowing vsserv.exe through the firewall? why wouldn't BitDefender do this on its own?
