Theres should be option for displaying "Unread" Events in the Show scroll down menu along with Critical, Warning, information options.

As you can see, we have redesigned the Events in Bitdefender 2013.
All the critical events are logged and displayed in the main interface and the security widget.

Sometimes when we don't read the Events for long, many Unread Events are there and are difficult to locate.
