Internet Security 2012 Download Link?!

So, I decided to re-image my comp a couple of hours ago. Finished within half an hour and thought "I'll be sensible and put Bitdefender back on first". I then realised I hadn't kept a copy of the install package (hey, I'm human) but thought it'll be a one minute download from Bitdefender...

An exceedingly frustrated half hour later I am NO CLOSER to resolving this issue!!! I know I'm eligible to a free upgrade from 2012 to 2013 but obviously Bitdefender never considered the staggeringly unlikey chance of anyone ever re-imaging their PC as this only works if you have 2012 currently installed!!!

I have had to resort to installing the trial of 2013 (which doesn't accept my current key with 221 days left to run) and am seriously contemplating looking for a copy of the 2012 install package on a warez site (and no, I buy all my software and music and don't make a habit of using warez sites).

Thanks for the help guys . Seriously though Bitdefender, how about a 'Already got Bitdefender?' section where people can download previous versions? Wouldn't be any use to people without a valid key so it would be no skin off your noses, would it?

Right just realised my key is from 2009 . No worries, it says you can retrieve your key by logging into 'My bitdefender'. So I do and, no, you can't " /> .

So I thought I'd click on support and once again, nothing about retrieving keys or, for that matter, any other version than 2013!

Right, I'm abandoning my 204 days, uninstalling Bitdefender and buying AVG instead. The Bitdefender website and their tech support are ######!

The key is located in your My Bitdefender Account.

Log in here with your credentials and you will see the key under products.

Also, your key is generated for Bitdefender 2012, it has 7 characters. These keys were released on the market in 2011, back in 2009 the licenses had 20 characters.

I will also send you a PM with your license key.

Thanks Christian but I've already bought and installed AVG. You really need to get your website sorted and treat existing users a bit more fairly.

I have seen very good dashboard on the old versions where some complex dashboards on the new versions. The complexity of the user experience has been seen through the new versions.

Actually now the dashboard contains only the critical reports and issues and all the other information was moved in Events.
