Running A .exe File
Since Bitdefender 2013 any time I try to run a program file like even your own Support Tool which is a .exe file can take up to 5 minutes to get the first dialog "do you wish to run this program"
Your file took about 1 minute to start, others like Firefox beta 15 took about 2, Netobjects Fusion at least 5
Trying to uninstall can take even longer .......... this never happened before Bitdefender 2013 .... it just sits there .... I don't know if it's the firewall or the virus scanner.
Please don't try to make me use the support tool .... I've tried 3 times ... wasted hours and it's still getting logs.... I thought maybe there were to many so I deleted all of them from the Event viewer, they are gone and the support tool is still getting logs 1 hour later.... How long is normal on that thing ?????
I have a AMD 1090T 6core processor running all 6 cores at 3700mhz , 4 GB DDR3-1600 , and a Corsair GT 240GB SSD , I don't think it should take that long !

Skipped me again !
What's up with the Support Tool, I saw another post where it just sets on Getting Logs ...safe mode or not0 -
Today I ran the Support Tool from within the Bitdefender Program :
Help & Support ----Contact Support -----Support Tool
I started it up and it sat at Executing Tools and didn't go any further ... I went to town and came back 3 hours later.
Guess what, still at Executing Tools !
The other times I ran it from the download, it went a bit farther.
Where's all the Help .... Help PLease !!!!!!!!!!0 -
Hang in there Tom, you have been patient Yet sometimes Christian gets busy behind the scenes (reading log files etc. from all the forums 2011-2013), and then in 1-2 days, he answers almost all posts posted.
