I bought from http://www.cheapantivirusdeals.com/ 1 User/ 1 Year but the license doesn’t work

I opened a dispute with paypal, but the seller didn’t want to make a refund, he gave me a license of 2009 version for 303 days, and not a year. What should I do - must help now

It has been my experience that Paypal always does the right thing. Pursue this to the end because fraudulent sellers of this type need to be deterred.

As Christian mentioned, the best place to buy Bitdefender is directly from them (his link), in this sense: (my personal opinion )

You will have your license /product key instantly stored on their servers after purchase even before installing the product, and will have the email confirmation letter. (yet, you still have to create a Bitdefender account during/after install)
You know you're always dealing with a reputable company

I used to be the one who always had to have a disc in hand, compared to a download version. Yet, Bitdefender is excellent in that we have access to the full download kits, as well as the "stub" installer here on the forum. So you will always have access to re-download..a disc is no longer an issue.

My other thought also, was that I could get a boxed version at a store, or online, sometimes cheaper than the vendors website. Yet, you can do a little searching for a Bitdefender coupon, and if there are a couple of options, different web pages, check out the users reviews of if it worked, or keep a couple of tabs open and copy/paste the code in the Shopping Cart web page and see if it worked. I was able to save 30% (see below) and I did leave a, "it worked" review on the webpage.

Also, I didn't like the Auto-renewal hassles of purchasing from a vendors web page, but that too is not a issue, as you can opt out of that option during the Review and Confirmation page (see below). Bitdefender will notify you when you need to renew, so no worries there

In my purchase images above, I did go through the steps of a purchase, in this case, of the Internet Security even though my other image was of my AV+ purchase....I know some of you all are pretty observant, and may have caught and "questioned" that one

When you are in the Shopping Cart page, those options are automatically available, with the option of clicking the Add Extra +, for an extra fee. The Download Insurance is for those who may not visit this forum to know about our re-download installer options. We benefit by accessing/taking the time in being a part of this forum, and knowing these things

Could Bitdefender on that Shopping page include a caveat that a download can be found on the forum...in a way, yet, why should they in this sense, they are a business, and if someone doesn't want to hope that it (download) could be found somewhere else in the future in time of need, and wants the peace of mind of Download Insurance, I have no problem with that.

I understand this. I really like how Christian has posted the offline installers. They come in handy. I keep a copy on one of my storage drives so it is always available. Plus, I always have 2 system images available.
