My Document Scanner Does Not Work After Bd 2013 Installation

I am a first time user of BD. After the installation of BD 2013 my scanner (Canon MP990) does not work any longer. I reloaded an old safe of the System (Windows 7 64bit) - and the Scanner worked again. After reinstallation of BD the same as above ( The error message says that the scanner is not recognized). Is there an option in BD which I have to choose to ensure proper functionning of the scanner ? :wacko:

    Hi guck, and welcome :)


    You may have to create an Exclusion for your scanner, which can be found here. This also includes the Firewall Exclusion settings if you have the Internet Security, or Total Security.


    Could you also provide us with your version of Bitdefender, as this would help with any further questions you may have :)

    Hello :)


    A product update was released. Your build should be 16.18.0.1406(please right click on Bitdefender icon from system tray-near the clock-and choose "About". You should see in the left side the build number).


    In order for the product update to be installed, you need to reboot your machine(you should see in the Events -> "Reboot required" under the Update module).

    I have encountered the same question with you recently.My document scanner can not work anymore after my updating.My setup is windows 8.


    Here is my document scanner.Is there any powerful document scanner which supports to scan document in windows 8.Thanks for any suggestion.
